The Horde Project

The Horde Project

I work on all applications of the Horde Framework, too many to mention them all here. At the time of this writing Horde consists of 62 PHP libraries and 45 applications.

Debeka

I supported the German Debeka, one of the largest national insurance groups, optimizing their Horde based intranet mail and calendar system. Consulting and custom development during the migration of their 5000 user system to Horde 3 is the next part of our collaboration.

Portugal Telecom

Portugal Telecom

In a team with 4 Horde developers we created a brand new, dynamic webmail system for SAPO, the online division of Portugal Telecom, from scratch. This client is based on AJAX technology and powered by the successful IMP webmail client, providing a rich interface similar to Gmail/Google Mail. The new interface was developed within a few weeks and provides browser based email access to SAPO's 3 million users.

Zend Technologies

Zend is one of the largest companies in the PHP world and home of some of the most active contributors to the PHP language. Next to several software products around the PHP language they offer a bunch of consulting services for software development and deployment.
I support their service as a freelance consultant in selected projects.

P&T Luxembourg

P&T Luxembourg

P&T is Luxemburg's largest post and telecommunication group. I supported P&T Internet, the country's largest ISP, migrating to Horde 3 and provided them with custom development.

Select Marketing Hotels and Eazires Hotels

Two websites managed at a single point for two hotel chains with a hotel database, a hotel search, a news system, online booking and a content management system, all administered through any standard browser.

SelGO/TTS

SelGO/TTS

SelGO is a project of two German school book publishers and the state of NRW to create innovative e-learning solutions.
With a team at AMMMa AG we created an innovative CD-ROM under the hood of this project that builds on latest didactical insights and is not comparable with any common CBT solution. This solution has won the digita 2005 and the Comenius Medaille 2005, Germany's two most important awards for e-learning solutions.
The product was developed in C# and utilizes Interner Explorer's rendering engine.
SelGO has been re-released as "Texte, Themen und Strukturen interaktiv" and is available in any book store (see right).
